Standards
Dripman are you aware there is a chinese next to the community center, chip shop and indian. It's just that when you say there isn't anywhere in quedgeley to compare emporer with I thought you may not know about it. I used to use it but it was always packed and I got fed up with them saying 10 minutes that turned out to be 30 or more. Maybe I should try that one again

Standards
Well I would say its nice food, although having noted that the menu prices have increased over the last year and the portions have decreased - fried rice in a tub is now smaller than before....you should complain about the food, you are the customer and they should listen. Would say its the best for Quedgley but then there is little to compare it to i suppose....when you can venture down the Bristol Rd near town and find numerous good Chinese places.

Good chinese but are standards slipping
We have been using Emporer for many years but recently I feel their standards have been slipping. I had a Beef Curry on Sunday which instead of being the usual green thick sauce was a brown runny one, still tasted ok but the runny sauce wasn't great. The chips we had were overcooked and generally it wasn't of the excellent standard we expect. I think I will give it one more try and if it is the same look elsewhere

Best Chinese
This is my local Chinese and I love it. Wouldnt eat Chinese anywhere else. The food is always great and cooked brilliantly. Its also very reasonably priced. Would definitly recomend to everyone.

Yum Yum!!
Emperor Chinese has got to be not just the best Chinese in Quedgeley but the best Chinese in Gloucester. We have been using them for years and have never had a bad meal. The food is always hot and not greasy like some Chinese’s can be. If you place an order it is ready for collection in just 10-15 minutes even on a Friday or Saturday night. Also the menu isn’t overly expensive.
