In his latest blog entry, Barry responds to a comment posted in relation to an article published on thisisgloucestershire.co.uk recently, titled County's budget to see £2.3m cut to children and families service.
Reader, Shireresident, commented: "I wonder why anyone puts up for election these days. After all, what can councillors do in the face of central government cuts?"
