A Quest for Dining Adventure
For over 17 years we have been providing some of the best food and wine in Cheltenham. We are open for lunch and dinner.

Our Food
We strive to be one of Cheltenham’s most exciting restaurants. For the more adventurous out there we have bison and antelope available. However we try to cater for all tastes, furthermore most of our menu can be altered to cater for celiac and lactose intolerant. Additionally we offer delicious vegetarian dishes and can cater for most allergies with little notice.

Our Wine
With over 100 wines from various regions around the world, we have a bottle for almost everyone’s taste. If you step into our “walk in wine room” you can spend some time looking over our wines and reading staffs personal reviews on each bottle. We believe that good wine shouldn’t cost a fortune, therefore we always try to supply our wine at reasonable prices.

If you want you can drop in just for a few glasses of wine. We have a lovely bar area and in the summer our garden is the perfect place to relax with friends. You can also enjoy our new extensive beer list and cocktail menu.

Function room
We have a wonderful function room that holds up to 50 people for parties and events, which can also be booked out for business meetings and lunches. Additionally the restaurant can cater for parties of up to 150 people.

A great story to tell

Great restaurant and superb wine list without being snobbish at all. Well worth a visit if you haven't tried it yet

Excellent

Saw this in a restaurant guide as I was looking for a good place for family get together lunch in Cheltenham where most of the family live. Tried it out on Bank Holiday Monday with wife and mother, both very discerning women! They, and I thought the the food and service were excellent. Value for money too and good selection of wine by the glass.

An excellent birthday dinner

I took my wife and her friend out to celebrate the latter's birthday. We chose the Storyteller restaurant on the basis of previous experience and nobody was disappointed. We enjoyed an excellent 3-course meal of great variety in an atmosphere that was helpful and attentive without being over-attentive. The choice of wines was almost (but not quite!) overwhelming, and following advice, I chose an Italian I didn't know. It was superb and completed a wonderful meal. Thank you.

Great atmosphere!

A friend had organised a meal out so it was not my choice to go here, but when I walked in it was a nice restaurant with a wine room which looked great. Food was tasty although a little expensive. A good night was had by everyone and I would go back to try it again.

Amazing wine list

If you are a wine lover then this is a must. They have the most extensive wine list of any restaurant I've ever been to in the area and they are all well kept. The food itself is unusual, and again not like anything else I've encountered around here. They have theme nights too for something a bit different.
