Sex Club coming to a Gloucester hotel near you.

Plans have been submitted to Gloucester County Council detailing
intention to turn the New County hotel in Southgate Street turned into
a restaurant, with a private members club at the rear of the ground
floor.
The company behind the plans is called Mystique, and is based in Quedgeley.
A
family restaurant serving vegetarian and pescatarian specialities will
undergo a daily metamorphosis when it opens its doors every night to
become a gay and swinger friendly night club.
The venue, when completed will boast all the necessary sundries for people enjoying "alternative sexual lifestyles" such as; a gothic room, mirror room and even a fetish room.
There will be regular events to offer their clientele the chance to dress outlandishly.
Since the closure of the Monday Gay Night at Crackers there has been very little on offer and these plans, if approved, would see a massive void in the market being filled and at the same time offering people of similar tastes to come together in a safe and clean environment.
It has been hailed by Andrew Harley, who runs the Gay News UK website, as "a great thing for Gloucestershire".
What are your thoughts on the matter?

ReportWhat a very misleading and inflamatory title. 'Sex club' rather implies somewhere SELLING sexual services, rather than a venue for people to meet others of similar interests - which if one looks at it realistically includes your local pub, photography club, or ramblers association. It's rather sad to see the 'safe and clean environment' line being used again - as if without providing, as a necessary evil, somewhere for these 'degenerates' to go, they would spill out onto our streets causing some kind of unmentioned mayhem.
I'd personally be more concerned about arrangements for parking, noise, etc than about the decor they choose for their themed rooms.
Should it really matter what sexual orientation any social venue caters for?
