It’s France, in the 17th century. King and country are in peril at the hands of the dastardly Cardinal Richlieu. But a young hero, D’Artgnan from Gascony, is about to join forces with musketeers Athos, Portos, Aramis in striving to restore freedom and peace to France.

This is the scene that will unfold in January when The Hardwicke Players put on their New Year pantomime at The King’s Theatre in Gloucester.

Formed in November 2004 by friends Claire Chapman, Steve Mills, Richard Edwards, Chris Sellars and Chris Paterson, The Hardwicke Players have gone from strength to strength, and now put on two shows a year.

The Three Musketeers can be seen from January 14th-16 2010. For more details, visit The Hardwicke Players website.
