Quedgeley library will soon have a supply of energy monitors to loan, alongside the more usual books and DVDs.

The monitors allow people to measure the amount of energy used by their appliances and are part of a six-month pilot project being run by Severn Wye Energy Agency (SWEA).

Look out for the launch event which will include a display stand and a representative from SWEA to show customers how to get the best out of their monitors.
