PC Lucy Kay has confirmed that she will be joining the Quedgeley team with the immediate effect, PC Lucy Kay said “I thought this would be the ideal opportunity to introduce myself to the residents and businesses in Quedgeley, My name is PC Lucy Kay and I will be working on the Quedgeley area covered by Gloucester South Police Station with immediate effect although initially I will be working alongside PC Mackie who will be Introducing me to various members of the community and passing on the relevant information about the issues that are important to you the residents.
I have just returned to work and am new to this role although I have been working at Gloucester South Police Station for the past 4 years. I have already been to several meetings with PC Mackie so some of you may have already met me, I will be looking to make contact with as many people in the community as I can over the next few months by attending as many meetings and local groups as possible, and trying to find ways to help improve the excellent work PC Mackie has already done.
Although Quedgeley has a large number of residential properties the area I am covering also covers
your local shops and business premises and I would be keen to know if there are any issues
surrounding them, so please feel free to contact me and let me know.
I very much look forward to working in this area and making a difference with the help or all of the local
residents and business. I would like to hear from the local community so please contact me and let me
know if there is anything in your area affecting you that you feel we should know about”
We wish her every success and look forward to seeing more of her.
What do you think about the policing in Quedgeley? Is enough being done? What do you think could be improved in the area? Let us know your thoughts.
