After the beautiful weather the we have luckily recently been having everyone is wondering whether it will hold out for the 4 day bank holiday weekend that is coming up. Bank Holiday weekends in England are notorious for damp and rainy weather. With most people expecting bad weather on the lucky few extra days that they get off will this year be different?

Quedgeley Weather has been beautiful recently. Will it hold on for the Bank Holiday
Currently the weather forecast is as follows:
Friday 22nd April- This is Good Friday the first day of the bank holiday and we should expect lows of 6 degrees but highs of 17 degrees. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like it is going to be sunny though the forecast says quite cloudy.
Saturday 23rd April- Again we will see lows of 6 degrees but highs could reach 18 degrees although still no sun, the cloud cover will remain.
Sunday 24th April - This is Easter Sunday and looks to be the best day of the weekend. Lows will be 7 degrees and highs may be 19 degrees. Although the cloud cover will still remain more sun should poke through.
Monday 25th April- The last day of the bank holiday celebrations and a slight drop in temperature with highs getting to 18 degrees and lows of 6 degrees again. Still that cloud cover unfortunately and a 40% chance of precipitation.
So unfortunately it doesn’t look like we are going to get the sunny weekend that we all hope for but temperatures look like they are going to be warm, much higher than the averages for April which is only 14 degrees. So grab a cardigan or jacket and go out and enjoy the warm and hopefully dry weather and try and burn off the calories from all of those Easter Eggs.
