A flippin' good pancake race by Quedgeley tots

A FLIPPIN' good pancake race was the highlight of the day for these tots.

The children from Busy Bees nursery, at Quedgeley, took part in a competition to mark Shrove Tuesday.

Then it was the turn of their parent to take on the playground challenge.

Manager Bernie Speck said: "It was competitive but a lot of fun for everyone."

While some ended up on heads, they did still find time to eat a few pancakes by the end of the day.
