Are you doing something funny for money this March 15?

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Comic Relief's Red Nose Day.

For the past quarter of a century the good people of Gloucestershire have been getting their laughing gear on, leaving their dignity at home and doing something funny, daft, or downright stupid to help raise money for the national appeal.

And if you, your school, playgroup, workplace, pub or club is doing something to raise money for this year's Comic Relief, Quedgeley People would love to hear from you.

Let us know all about it here on Quedgeley People, tweet us, or tell us what you're up to on the Quedgeley People Facebook page.

Other ways you can do your bit for Comic Relief

You don't have to sit in a bath full of baked beans, shave your head or run a marathon dressed as a pantomime horse to do your bit for Comic Relief.

This year there are three different dinosaur red noses to choose from - all available from Sainsbury's and Oxfam stores, or online at www.rednoseday.com.

This year's Red Nose Day T-shirts have been designed by none other than Stella McCartney - One Direction and a host of famous faces, including Caroline Flack, Stephen Fry, Miranda Hart, David Walliams (pictured), Jack Whitehall and Claudia Winkleman have been pictured wearing them.

These fashion must-haves are available to buy from TK Maxx or from the Red Nose Day website.

Red Nose Night on the BBC

On Friday, March 15 the BBC will be hosting its usual showcase of comic mayhem. This year's Red Nose Night, as ever, will be hosted by some of Britain's top comedy stars, including Michael McIntyre, Rob Brydon, John Bishop, Zoe Ball, Lenny Henry, Davina McCall, Jack Whitehall, Nick Grimshaw, Jonathan Ross and Claudia Winkleman - and they will be asking you to get dialling and texting with your pledges and donations to help transform the lives of countless people, both here at home in the UK, and across Africa. You can also donate through the Comic Relief website.

The highlight of the night promises to be the moment pop star Jessie J shaves her head. Jessie is losing her beautiful locks to raise lots of 'money, money, money' for Comic Relief.

To sponsor Jessie visit her 'Jessie J Dares' page.
