I drove past it this morning on my way to work, fire crews were on a crane looking over the top, its totally gutted all that is left is the brickwork such a shame as it has just been refurbed also. And the poor little dog such a horrible way to die and a cruel way if it is Arson.... we really do not have some nice people in this world :(

ReportApparently a 16 year old has been arrested in connection with the fire. The fire started at around 1.45am which makes me wonder what a 16 year old was doing out on the streets at that time of the morning because I was certainly not allowed out that late at that age! A woman escaped unharmed which is good news but I agree shelly it is very sad about the poor dog it must have been so frightened. Terrible thing to have happened and I hope that the person responsible realises what a dangerous stupid thing they have done which could have quite easily led to somebody dying in that fire.
