The orchard in quedgeley has burnt down. Apparently it is a suspected arson attack. 11 fire fighter crews battled at 2.30am to put out the blaze. A terrier dog is reported to have died in the fire but no humans were thought to be hurt. If you know any more about the incident please comment.

Apparently a 16 year old has been arrested in connection with the fire. The fire started at around 1.45am which makes me wonder what a 16 year old was doing out on the streets at that time of the morning because I was certainly not allowed out that late at that age! A woman escaped unharmed which is good news but I agree shelly it is very sad about the poor dog it must have been so frightened. Terrible thing to have happened and I hope that the person responsible realises what a dangerous stupid thing they have done which could have quite easily led to somebody dying in that fire.
