Quedgeley Crime statistics have shown a decrease in the number of reported crimes in Quedgeley from the summer months towards the end of 2011. In August 2011 there was 230 crimes reported this dropped by 63 crimes to 167 reported crimes in November 2011. Till snatch man has been arrested.
Aldi in Quedgeley was the first shop to be targeted by this thief on Thursday 3rd November. The theft happened around 1pm and hundreds of pounds were stolen after he grabbed the cash from the open till. The Orchard Pub that was destroyed in an arson attack in August is to be completely demolished. Work is expected to start on November 14th as the owners have put in a demolition notice to Gloucester City Council. 15 year old scratched on the way to school
A 15 year old was scratched on his way to school in a strange attack on Tuesday morning. The boy was walking to Severnvale school through an alleyway off Church Drive at 7.55am on Tuesday. He was heading towards School Lane when he turned around and a man lashed out with an unknown weapon and scratched the boys cheek leaving 5 scratch marks. Teen arrested after massive pub fire in Quedgeley
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of arson following a massive pub blaze in Quedgeley last night. The Orchard, in Bristol Road, was destroyed as flames ripped through its two floors.
