    Kingsway will get more shops following last night's planning committee decision to approve new retail units for the Local Centre. When I had the pleasure of opening the first phase of the shopping complex it was very clear that this was only the beginning and that more shops would be needed.     Gloucestershire County Council has confirmed how it will be spending more than £1m of efficiency savings in flood defence works across the county.
