Can I rally Quedgeley People to join me an others who will be marching to save Gloucester City Centre from being axed to the Forest of Dean parliamentary constituency as proposed by the Boundary Commission. I hope others feel as I do that the symbolical and historical bonds that tie the heart of our City to its parliamentary seat are too strong to be severed in this way and must not happen. The march has the support of all political groups and each will have an alternative to offer the Boundary Commission. I am pleased that the Conservatives - as you will see in today's Citizen - has a proposal that strengthens Quedgeley's position as electors within the Gloucester parliamentary constituency. See you at the Gloucester Cross 1230 on Friday.

This is such an important cause and I hope that Quedgeley People will support it. Unfortunatly I will be at work at that time but all of those people who have got the time please please go along and support this cause for Quedgeley. I couldnt believe my eyes when I read the story in the Citizen. It is absloutly ridicilous. The centre of Gloucester should stay as Gloucester end of and anyone that thinks otherwise is just stupid. I really hope that the march goes well and everyone backs this important cause!! Some photos would be great as well.
