Although the first weekend in October this year was record-breakingly hot unfortunately this is reported to change shortly.

It is thought that we could have moderate-heavy snow as early as this October.

The whole of the UK are being told to get prepared for this weather so that we are not caught out as has happened the past couple of years however the North of England and Scotland are expected to be the worst affected.

Met Office have predicted that in October we will have lower than expected night temperatures causing overnight frosts.

Netweather are said to have forecast widespread snowfall by November.

Weather Services International have also said that we will see temperatures in October, November and December 2 degrees lower than normal.

Maybe it is time to dig out your winter coats and the anti-freeze because as they say its better to be safe than sorry and with so many news stories on the 'Big Freeze' it seems inevitable that we really are in for some bad weather this year.

It seems hard to think about snow when the weather is so beautiful at the moment. I have never known such lovely weather in mid October before. The weather over the last few years has definitely changed I don't really know about global warming but the weather all over the world has changed. I hope that we don't get snow as Quedgeley roads are just completely hectic as soon as there is a bit of snow. Best stock up on anti-freeze and dig my scarf and gloves out.
