Quedgeley Library Opening Hours to return to normal

In an attempt to help save money Quedgeley Library's opening hours were reduced.

This has now over turned and the library hours are returning to normal.

9 Libraries were effected by the cut in hours including Quedgeley, Hucclecote, Longlevens and Stonehouse.

Gloucestershire County Council planned to shut down 10 libraries and hand them over to Communities to run.

However fortunately this was scrapped after a judicial review.

The Authority are trying to save £114 million by 2014.

Churchdown Library and Nailsworth Library are still having their opening hours changed.
