Quedgeley Police
In August 2011 there was 230 crimes reported this dropped by 63 crimes to 167 reported crimes in November 2011.
Each month you can see a decrease in the number of crimes with August the most crimes reported in 1 month for the whole year at 230, September 199 crimes, October 174 and then November 167 crimes.
This decrease in crimes could be due to the cold weather forcing people inside more than in the summer months.
Although the number of Anti-Social behaviour calls does not vary much over a 3 month period with September 98, October and November 95 ASB crimes reported.
The dark winter nights and less people around can provide some criminals the cover they require to commit a crime however Burglary crime rates actually went down over 3 months,18 reported burglaries in September, 8 in October and 5 in November.
Another type of crime that has dropped is violent crime; in September there were 19 violent crimes recorded then 18 in October and it drops right down to 10 in November.
