Police are appealing for information after a break-in at a parish hall in Tuffley yesterday.
At some time between 2pm and 3.30pm, entry to the hall in Grange Road was gained when the main doors at the front of the building were forced open.
The offender, or offenders, then threw coffee on the floor before leaving with three Mertens kitchen knives valued at around £80. One had a blue handle, one a yellow handle and one a red handle.
Police are asking anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area at the time of the incident, or who thinks they may have information which could help their investigation, to call 101 quoting incident 336 of January 28.
Alternatively, information can be given anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, or via the charity's website.
