New Businesses Open In Kingsway

Businesses in Kingsway are opening to the public which is great news for residents.

The new local pub, The Barn Owl, opened for business yesterday.

It is an 18th Century barn that has been transformed into a new family pub.

The building is heritage listed and over 400 years old.

There has been a purpose made roosting loft for bats and other wildlife such as owls.

The pub is very eco-friendly and is up for a conservation award.

The new Landlord and Landlady are Garry and Kirsty Millard.

Another business that has recently opened in Kingsway is a Coffee Shop, CoCo Coffee Lounge.

They serve delicious coffee and other hot and cold drinks and also home made cakes.

The Coffee Lounge is also going to be a meeting place for Residents and the Local Police.

They are holding a meeting there every week on a Thursday from 10am - noon.

Three community beat officers will be there to answer any questions and queries from residents.

The Coffee shop has been opened by Lesley Dyer and her family.
