QUEDGELEY WANDERERS WHITES U-10s 1 PAINSWICK U10s 5

PAINSWICK Under-10s restarted their season after a five-week break with a comprehensive win.

Painswick were slow off the mark, but Sam Porter scored the first goal with a powerful strike.

This seemed to wake up both teams and Quedgeley soon had the equaliser.

However, Painswick buckled down and were rewarded when Ned Greasley crossed a great ball to Joe Hosler who buried it in the back of the net.

The Quedgeley keeper made some outstanding saves throughout but Painswick pressed forward and Charlie Murray seized his chance, struck the ball and Tom Connor-Webb guided it past the keeper to get the third.

Joe Hosler then scored his second after a scramble in the box saw him bundled to the ground. Undeterred, he kicked the ball from a sitting position and slotted the ball home.

Ned Greasley scored the last goal of the match for Painswick.
