MONEY has been fished out to give to a children's charity.
The Quedgeley and District Angling Club has handed over £300 to Sense, which supports deaf and blind youngsters.
The money was raised at a club angling match on the Gloucester canal which the club ran in aid of the children. Anglers are also looking for more junior members, up to the age of 16, to join.
Membership is free, email Wally Dewsnip at j.dewsnip@blueyonder. co.uk to find out more.
The club meets every second Thursday of the month at the Quedgeley Social Club in School Lane from 7.30pm.
For adults, it is £5 a year to join the organisation.
