Car fire at Matson ski centre

Crews were called to a car fire in the car park of the Gloucester Ski and Snowboard Centre in Matson Lane, Matson last night.

An engine from Gloucester South Fire Station was despatched at 6.37pm in response to a call received by the control centre.

One hose reel and two breathing appartus were used in the operation to extinguish the blaze, which left the car severely damaged.
