15 year old scratched on the way to school

A 15 year old was scratched on his way to school in a strange attack on Tuesday morning.

Quedgeley Police are investigating this strange attack.

The boy was walking to Severnvale school through an alleyway off Church Drive at 7.55am on Tuesday.

He was heading towards School Lane when he turned around and a man lashed out with an unknown weapon and scratched the boys cheek leaving 5 scratch marks.

The man attacked once again and scratched the boys arm before the 15 year old ran away.

The offender is described as between 50 - 60, white with grey hair and between 6 foot and 6 foot 4".

Police have increased their patrols around the area and are asking people to be vigilant whilst out.

What a strange and very scary attack on this poor boy. My thoughts are with him and I hope he has a speedy recovery. I hope that this man is caught soon and dealt with. I have never heard of an attack like this and it is very scary that it has happened in our community.
